SHARON D. HADDEN
A Leader in Senior Living
CEO and Administrator
Sharon D. Hadden is a highly energetic and self-driven professional with a distinguished career in senior living administration and a deep commitment to her community. She currently serves as District Five Commissioner on the Edgefield County Planning Commission, where she leverages her extensive business background to help shape the growth and development of South Carolina’s historic western border.

A proven track record of transformation
Sharon transitioned into the assisted living field in 2012, quickly becoming a recognized expert in facility turnaround. She has a proven track record of successfully addressing complex occupancy, budgetary, and regulatory challenges across various care levels. Her reputation as a results-oriented leader was solidified during her tenure at Manor House Senior Living, where she was named Admin of the Year. This honor recognized her extraordinary ability to implement rigorous quality assurance and service standards while driving a massive occupancy turnaround—increasing residency from 54 to 88 in just six months.
Her leadership roles include:
· Five Star Senior Living: Served as Administrator of a 54-bed assisted living community.
· Savannah Court of Lake Oconee: Managed a 72-bed campus encompassing assisted living, memory care, and independent living.
· Manor House Senior Living: Served as Administrator for a 98-bed facility offering a full continuum of care, including independent living and memory care.
Her expertise in the industry is rooted in a lifelong family connection to healthcare; her family owns and operates a 104-bed skilled nursing facility in Glascock County, Georgia.
Entrepreneurial Spirit and Civic Dedication
Before her career in senior living, Sharon was a mainstay of the local business community for 20 years as the owner and operator of "Still Magnolias," a popular retail shop in Edgefield County. Her decades of entrepreneurial experience, combined with her civic-minded approach, have made her the "go-to" resource in the county for senior living issues and questions.
"Whether she is advocating for responsible land use on the Planning Commission or fighting for the dignity of her residents, Sharon is defined by her compassionate care and unwavering advocacy."
